This issue commemorates the 70th Anniversary of the Year of the Three Kings. In 1936 Britain's Monarchy was in crisis. When George V died, Edward VIII abdicated and George VI then ascended to the throne.
Contains a single £3.00 Machin stamp and reproductions of 1d stamps from 1936 for each of the three Kings who reigned in that year - George V, Edward VIII and George VI.
The minisheet was designed by Together Design Ltd, printed in Gravure by De La Rue, has PVA Gum and the £3 stamp is perf 15 x 14. The stamp size is 20mm x 24mm, and the mini sheet is 127mm x 73mm.
Note: There was no Presentation Pack issued for this mini sheet.
