1978 - Queen Elizabeth II - Celebrating 25 Years of the Coronation

Hundreds of countries celebrated this occasion with stamp issues. I have split them into "stamp types" i.e. several countries issued one particular format of stamp. This section demonstrates that.
The commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the Queen's Coronation in 1978 was marked by 20 Commonwealth countries using a similar format. In each case the heraldic beasts on the left and right stamps were different and relevant to the issuing country.
Many other countries also released stamps for this event, but they are outside the scope of this section and can be found within the issuing country list.
Although only 20 countries produced stamps in this same format - there are 21 to collect as New Caledonia produced a version in both English and French.
