I have never paid much attention to Aerograms, but yesterday a correspondent asked me to send a current US Aerogram cover.
I don't recall seeing any recently in the US and wonder if they were discontinued.
Does anyone know anything about that kind of Air Mail Service ?

Charlie,
Cannot answer your question, but I have always liked Aerogrammes and have a decent collection, especially of the Scottish Variety. They certainly add colour and interest to any collection.

There are paople who collect barbed wire strands and get all giddy about the number of strands, the shape and twists of the barbs and the types of metal used.
There is a joke about some folks who freeze cow patties and collect them. (At least I hope it is a joke.)
I have several correspondents who collect Banana Stickers. I accumulate any I come across to send to them.
Some boats float higher than others.
Some sink like a submarine with open portholes.
