I think the latter Alex.

By the looks of the timing he took advantage of eBay's free listing last weekend so it isn't going to cost him anything and if it does sell well he's quids in.

On the subject of engaging the seller. I saw a similar marginal item with a "total sheet cost" a couple of years ago and when I wrote to him he basically told me to mind my own business so I gave up on doing that for this type of sale. Basically if anyone does purchase it they probably deserve it.

I did help out a seller last week that I had dealt with previously who put up an image of booklet HA3 which it couldn't have been as it contained Bright Blue stamps - and he thanked me and changed the image. A genuine error in other words. We are all capable of making this type of mistake.

I think that was worthwhile as it was priced cheaply so would probably sell but the buyer would not be receiving what he thought.

Your guy I don't think I will bother with but do let us know whether it receives any bids.

Update :

After I politely pointed out the face value and the detail behind the marginal copy he has now changed it to read .25, but still at 20 !!!

I wished him well with his sale but pointed out that collectors will know its true commercial value...

Dave,

Fortunately nobody was stupid enough to bid on this and it has now timed-out.
