Hi Gooner,
I have done some checking on eBay as well and came across the three large Machins from DX22 booklet (mint)advertised for GBP 0.99 so I put in a bid and must have been the only bidder as I ended up getting them for that price. So I think it does pay to sit and watch every now and then to get the bargains.Happy collecting to everybody.
Regards John Gerbes Smile

Hi John - Well done

Absolutely right - there are still a few bargains to be had - though a lot less than a few years ago - problem now is you have to sift through mountains of rubbish to find the diamonds. (A bit like in real life really).

There is one seller that really annoys me (won't mention his name) ... he loads literally 100's of 99p Machins every week - and if they don't sell he lists them again ... and again .. and again ... I looked at his sales and he seems to sell about 2 in 200 that he lists.

Yes, and the seller is in Hicksville, LI, NY
.
No jokes allowed, the town was named after the "Hicks" family. I went to Grammar school there for about two years.
