I saw a listing on StampBoards (Stampboards.com) for a very big lot of used GB

1000 plus Queen Elizabeth II A$ 25.00 + Postage

It looks to be about half machins and half Wildings in the picture and could be a great buy for someone wanting quantities to play with. The listing is headed "Clean Out" and is in the unanswered posts. Went in in December last year, but presumably still there. You must be registered to buy, but do not need to rack up the count of listings that you must have before you can offer for sale. Dave said that he will accept any listing here that helps collectors, so thank you, Dave.

Derick, a few months ago we discussed looking for a kiloware dealer in this thread;

http://stamp-collector.co.uk/MachinForum/viewtopic.php?t=499

Personally I think the "Stampboards" item is a bit pricy, especilly considering the potential postage from OZ.
Here is an eBay listing that is more in line with what I am used to paying.

Wow, 2kg - getting that sounds like going to heaven, which is what I would probably do before I could get through that volume. Frightening mailing charge on that item, though.
I work in Dorset for 2 months in the spring, and try to time heavyweight purchases closer to that so that I can have them sent to the pub in which I stay at RM prices. Having them there gets me out of the bar in good time in the evenings, but sometimes means some reworking of ID the following day! Derek

There are often 1000 machins off paper on ebay for 99p +del.
I recently 'bought' 12-15Kg of mainly machin kiloware for 1p which I had to collect locally.
Still rumaging through.
I have about 25Kg now in total.

In the US Swan Philatelic Imports of Lee's Summit, Missouri sells kiloware and has been doing so for over thirty years as I recall buying some bulk mixtures frmthem in the '70s before I moved south.
I've seen their advertisement recently in Linn's Stamp News so they must be still in business.
Anyone in the US who wants bulk mixtures should contact them for their prices.

Glad I stirred up some interesting replies with good sources, even if the one I spotted is so out of line. Derek.

AnthonyUK must be registered on a special ebay: I often see 100 for 0.99 but the 1000 at that price have escaped me (and I am on ebayUK as well as the American version). I will keep looking, Thanks for the tip. Derek

Thank you. I have added him to my list of selers. I wonder if any of the filters that I have on my searches are taking him out. I will check that out.
