I have just received my 2014 supplement pages from Lighthouse for the Machin stamps issued during 2014. The page numbers are 93.D-24A; 93.D-24B and 93.D-24C.
The NVI stamps all go in the first two pages with none missing. However, on page 93.D-24C which holds the value Machins for 2014 some appear to be missing.
On the 15th April 2014 the Buckingham Palace prestige book was issued which contained three new Machins stamps. These were the 10p; 20p and 1.00. They are all new stamps with the first two included in the supplement page but for some reason the 1.00 is missing. Any ideas why?
Next on the 26th March 2014 four new self-adhesive value stamps were issued which are the 81p; 97p; 1.47 and the 2.15. None of these are included in the supplement pages.
Can anyone tell me what the Lighthouse policy is for including or not including stamps in their supplements?

Hello chester-cat,

I doubt anyone can. Lighthouse seem to do their own thing. But I continue to use Lighthouse, for the moment. I sometimes regret not having gone down the SG route. Any thoughts, anyone? SG v Lighthouse, I mean. If I can help in some small way ...

Hi Chris,
Thanks for your reply. I received all the pages for the missing stamps in the following year so now just waiting for all the 2016 pages which I am told will be out during April 2017.
Regards

Oh dear!

Just noticed you posted 21 months ago! Sorry about that.

Still, at least you've found a Lighthouse buddy?

I don't think you would be any better off with SG to be honest as none of the conventional album makers issue their updates in a very timely manner.

As a specialist Machin collector I am pretty much forced into creating my own pages, however even if the "conventional" suppliers were good enough I would struggle with their pricing.

Even removing pricing from the equation, Connoisseur were my favourite but they stopped printing pages in the early part of the century so (we) specialists were almost forced down the "home album" route.

Just my opinion of course, and only covers the Machin aspect.
