A member of the Erie Stamp Club is looking for some help with a project. She is seeking photos of mail boxes in certain countries.

Her request;

Dear fellow collectors,

The time is coming to get my presentations ready for the summer months. I spend time at libraries, clubs and such with children, and some older folks too, showing off the stamp collecting hobby. This is to help generate an interest in a wonderful hobby that helps us learn about lots of people, places and things in and around our beautiful planet. And keep the postal service in business I might add!

I cannot showcase every country each time so I choose 3 countries along with the USA to take with me for presentation. In the past I have done France, Germany, Portugal, Romania, USA, and India.

This summer I am wanting to show off Australia, Finland, Japan, and Canada.

Each album taken for presentation has photos of the mail delivery system in that specific country. I prefer to have photos taken by folks in those countries as opposed to finding them off the web. I am looking for mailboxes (ones used to drop mail in for delivery), post offices, mail delivery folks, and anything specific to your country that you might find interesting, unusual to show off for kids and such.
Please email me privately at with any questions, comments, etc. Of course credit is given for folks who help me with the presentation. If you don't want your name/country included in the credits, please let me know.

Warm Regards,
Chele Cox

So if anyone has, or is willing to take, photos for her presentation contact her at the e-address provided and let us all know how it is going.
